Can a guest book a parking space for less than 9 consecutive hours a day?
Unfortunately the minimum rental period is 9 consecutive hours per day for 7 calendar days, although the guest may specify which days he/she would like to rent. Renting a space does not require your vehicle to be present for the duration of the rental period, rather you may go and come as you please, like any other parking space.
Who is an iParkomat guest?
After paying the fee, what guarantee do I have that the parking space will be free?
It is the host’s duty to ensure that the parking space is free during the period paid for by the guest. We make every effort to work with reliable partners. Therefore each host has their own user reliability rating and reviews based on the history of previous cooperation with iParkomat and other users. Before deciding to rent from a host, you should check their user reliability rating and reviews. If you are satisfied with the experience or more importantly, if any problems arise, notify iParkomat and give your host an appropriate rating and review so that other users can benefit from your experiences.
Is it possible for the guest to arrive early/depart later?epart later on one or more days under an already concluded agreement?
Yes, if both parties agree on the early arrival/late departure in advance. If otherwise not agreed upon, this will be treated as a breach of the contract between the host and guest, and may lead to immediate termination of the contract and decrease the guest's user reliability rating.
What is the quickest and most secure method to book a parking space?
The “Book Now” option is the quickest method for your offer to be approved because it happens automatically once your payment has been submitted. This option can only be used by users who match or exceed the minimum “user reliability rating”, set by the host. Most listings require a minimum of 4 out of 5 stars to use the “Book Now” option. To put it simply, booking any available listings will be much quicker if you have a high iParkomat user reliability rating.
After your offer has been accepted, you will receive contact information of the iParkomat host. When payment is complete, iParkomat will secure the payment and confirm the transaction with the host.
You are encouraged to increase your user reliability rating by filling out accurate personal information and give reviews about other users you work with based on their cooperation and reliability.
What is the maximum rental period?
There is no maximum rental period. A contract is established between the host and the guest, which solidifies a rental period no less than the 7 day minimum. The contract must be renewed at least 3 days before the expiration of the rental period. If the guest chooses to renew a contract but due payment has not been submitted to the host at least 3 days prior to the next term, the contract will be automatically terminated and the guest’s user reliability rating can be decreased.
When does a guest need to pay?
The contract is not complete until you pay the rent (and sometimes a security deposit) for the space through iParkomat. If you do not immediately submit payment, you risk another iParkomat user booking the space. Likewise, any contract renewals are only valid after the guest pays.
For contracts longer than one month, the guest must pay for the subsequent term no later than 3 days before the next term begins. Failure to do so results in automatic termination of the contract.
Can the guest pay in installments?
Can a pending contract be terminated and if so, how?
A pending contract can only be terminated if agreed on by both the host and guest or in special cases mandated by law. Termination does not release the host from the obligation to pay due commission to iParkomat. The commission is a fee for arranging the contract, not for completing it.
Who is liable for vehicular damages incurred while renting a parking space?
Although iParkomat facilitates contracts, it is not a part of the agreement established by the host and guest and is therefore not responsible for the actions of the host nor conditions of the parking/garage spaces. iParkomat takes no responsibility for any damages incurred during the rental period.
Should there be a need, all parties involved should pursue any potential claims before a civil court. In addition, iParkomat requests that users post accurate reviews and rate other users with whom they have made contracts. Providing feedback about specific users is of particular importance if a user encounters someone who has had difficulty completing a contract or adhearing to the Terms of Service. Providing feedback helps the iParkomat community work with more reliable customers.
Who is a host?
Can one person act as a host and a guest in iParkomat?
Yes, this is possible and this can be great advantage for you: you can be a host and a guest at the same moment: you are renting your parking space and earn money on it and (at the same time with the money earned) you are using parking space from another host. So finally you can even park your car in different parking spaces conveniently and for no charge!
How does someone benefit from being a host?
What is the minimum rental period?

Can a host change the price for renting the parking space and if so, when?
Can a host refuse to rent the parking space to a specific guest?
Yes, but only under certain conditions. The conditions depend on the manner in which the host posted the listing on the iParkomat website. The following rules apply:
a) If the host has posted their listing using the “Book Now”option specifying the minimum guest reliability rating requirement and the guest has met this minimum, and all fees have been paid, the host may not refuse to rent this space to the guest. If the host refuses, they are choosing to breach their contractual obligations to iParkomat and risk legal action against them, as well as a decreased user reliability rating, and a negative review.
b) When the host has posted their listing without the “Book Now”option or with the “Book Now”option but the guest does not have the minimum required user reliability rating, the host may freely decide whether to rent their parking space to that particular guest by selecting an appropriate option when registering with iParkomat.
If my parking space is accessible using a remote, how can I be sure that the remote will be returned to me in working condition?
When registering the space, the host may check the option that requires all guests to pay a one-time security deposit for the necessary equipment. The host should indicate the reason for this added security deposit and specify what equipment will be necessary i.e. remote control, entry key, parking pass, etc. The security deposit is paid to iParkomat and held until the equipment is returned to the host. The price of the security deposit is set by the host but cannot exceed 30 times the price of one days rent. The security deposit must be paid in full in oder to complete the contract.
If the host receives damaged equipment or the equipment is lost or stolen, the security deposi will not be returned to the guest. The host must contact iParkomat no later than 3 days after the contract has ended and report that the equipment has been damaged or that the guest did not return the equipment. If the host does not contact iParkomat about the equipment, the security deposit will be returned to the guest not later than 14 days from the expiration of the contract.
How does iParkomat pay out the funds?

b) Finding another guest will be quicker. A host can immediately repost a listing on iParkomat, as soon as a contract expires or is terminated.
c) The longer you stay with us, the smaller the deductible commission will be.
d) If you continue an agreement with a guest outside iParkomat, you still have an obligation to pay the commission due to iParkomat. For more information, please read iParkomat Terms of Service.
Why should guests stay with us?
We make an effort to ensure that our customers are satisfied and remain with us for long periods of time. A guest will not be charged for anything other than the possible security deposit and sparking space fee. The are many reasons to continually partner with iParkomat including the following:
a) You can rank and post reviews about your host, should any problems with the contract arise. Any reviews and ratings given can be seen by other iParkomat users.
b) You can find hosts quicker and easier with iParkomat than searching on your own. In addition, if you stay with us after the expiration of your contract and search for another host, your user reliability ranking won't drop. You may also use the "book now" option to take advantage of the most attractive parking spaces.
c) You do not pay any extra fees to iParkomat. The price of the parking space or garage already includes commission given to iParkomat. iParkomat deducts commission from your parking space fee and transfers the remaining amount to the host.
d) By partnering with a host outside iParkomat, you risk a reduction of your user reliability rating.
Can I prematurely terminate my contract with the host and get a refund for the remaining rental period?
No, your contract ends when the rental period expires. You can decide to stop parking in your rented space whenever you choose however, your money will not be refunded to you unless such right has been mandated by law, after legal action has been pursued.
Long-term agreements are subject to automatic termination if the guest fails to pay the rental fee on time (a minimum of 3 days before the following term begins). In the case of automatic termination, the guest's user reliability rating will decrease and the guest may be subject to negative reviews on the iParkomat profile.
In some cases the host and the guest may agree to terminate the contract prematurely, in which case the contract is terminated on the date agreed upon by both parties. If this occurs, the host must repost the listing on iParkomat no later than 3 days after the premature termination of the contract. Failure to do so will result in a decreased user reliability rating. Additionally, iParkomat is still entitled to collect all due commission regardless of the prematurely terminated contracts.
